User Reviews: I could not say enough good things about Marworth. I went to this treatment center for an alcohol addiction a few months ago, and I am very happy that I did. I had been struggling with an alcohol abuse habit for about twenty years and previous treatment centers I had gone too just were not working for me. Marworth treatment approach however was exactly what I needed to ensure that I could stay clean and sober for life. Marworth approach uses a lot of one on one attention and a lot of direct, focused treatment services to help people find their path to freedom from even the most difficult and unpleasant of substance abuse habits. One of my favorite things about Marworth is that this treatment center truly was able to help me see the future and see the path out of addiction and into a level of freedom and stability and abstinence that was lasting and permanent. Marworth combines an excellent degree of one on one services and group therapies to make for a well varied, and well thought out recovery approach. I will contend that this is a tricky program. You actually have to work at it and really apply yourself to it. I would say that the only reason why Marworth would not work for you would be if you were not committed to getting clean from your addiction when you entered into the treatment program. But then again, that would be true for anyone going to any kind of treatment program. With Marworth, if you want to get clean, you absolutely will get clean with their help. Of that I can say is true with certainty. This treatment center definitely goes the extra mile and puts in the effort to truly help people no matter how bad their substance abuse habits are. I am very pleased with everything that this treatment center was able to do for me and for the other individuals that I went there with. This treatment center really did save all of our lives and really helped us to find our peace of mind and our freedom from even the most difficult of substance abuse habits. Again, this program is tough, but if you are committed to it, it will save you from addiction.

Latest Reviews Of Rehab Centers In Pennsylvania PA

I was scared at the beginning about what kind of environment will I have to live in. I’m an introvert so basically, don’t interact with people a lot. That changed a lot during my detox period at the Glenbiegh Center of Erie. Therapists attentively worked on my social skills and encouraged me a lot during each stage of my therapy. I feel more confident and energetic than before I came here to their facility. Glenbiegh Center of Erie was the right decision and I’m proud it. They offer a lot at a very reasonable price.

We are One big family! God gave me the gift of sobriety and I have been given the opportunity to help people save and change peoples lives. Family atmosphere amazing therapy.

I really loved being at Pottstown Comprehensive Treatment Center and I have learned a lot. It is a really good transition for me in my early recovery. Being able to work and a great slow transition back into the real world . There should be less days of groups the longer your there, once your on mentor phase I think it should be 3 days a week instead of 5.

The staff here are dedicated and experienced both personally and professionally in the field of addiction and recovery.

PA Substance Abuse Facts

When you suffer from a drug or alcohol addiction, every day can feel like a struggle, and you may feel like you’re all alone. But many people face the same challenges you do—and you don’t have to look far to find them.

Recent surveys reveal that among Pennsylvania residents, substance abuse reaches into every corner of the state:

  • Of all PA residents older than 12, 0.55% of them had used in heroin in 2014-15.
  • Approximately 6.4% of the state’s population (699,000 people) suffered from an alcohol addiction that year.
  • Among Pennsylvania teens during the survey period, 11.4% of them used alcohol for the first time, 4.6% first tried marijuana, and 3.8% began smoking cigarettes.
  • Of all of the state’s residents older than 12, more than 1.3 million reported using marijuana between 2014 and 2015.
  • In Pennsylvania, drug overdoses took the lives of 700 residents in 2015—more than twice as many as those who died from a homicide the same year.

Getting Addiction Treatment Help

Clearly, if you suffer from an addiction to drugs or alcohol, you are not alone. You also have many ways to find treatment for your substance use disorder. A good place to start is right here. Either search our directory of providers—both in Pennsylvania and elsewhere, if you prefer somewhere away from the distractions and potential triggers of everyday life—or call our experienced treatment consultants who can walk you through your options.

You can also ask your family doctor, counselor, or church leader for a trusted referral to a treatment professional or organization. The benefits department of your health insurance company is an excellent resource for local treatment providers, too, and you can discuss any options your plan includes for out of state programs, if you so desire.

Where Else Can I Find Help?

In addition to the above options, you can also explore Pennsylvania’s state and regional programs for those with no insurance or for those whose plans provide extremely limited coverage. Federal plans like Medicaid provide additional options if you have a limited income, and representatives can direct you to participating treatment programs.

Individual treatment centers are often willing to work with you on various payment options too. Sometimes, they offer a sliding scale based on your income and other factors, and many will work out a payment plan that allows you to get the treatment you need now while giving you time to pay it off.

In some cases, treatment centers or local charitable organizations offer partial or full scholarships specifically for substance abuse treatment. Usually, it’s simply a matter of asking what’s available and taking the steps to apply.
