Latest Reviews Of Rehab Centers In Texas TX

The groups were good and they teach you how to deal with your issues that cause the addiction. The team facilitates a full holistically-minded program to support recovery, integration, meaning-making and continued healing and wellness. If anybody struggles with an addiction or know somebody who has that problem give Burke Center a call they are going to help. Staff, diet, accommodations were great. They incorporate peers as a staff that helps the addict connect. They cared for my well being and I would recommend this place to anyone trying to recover and live a better life.

The classes give you a lot of important tools for successful sobriety. You can never get bored during your stay at this facility. Very nice and private rehab. The medical team is very good. Deeply compassionate and well-trained staff, offering a very effective yet unique approach. This place was amazing. I was willing to get back in touch with my faith by attending church every Wednesday and Sunday. To me, it gave me a feeling of relief.

I have had been in and out of many rehab facilities before I came to Lifes Second Chance Treatment Center and I have to say that the environment and staff care that I was exposed to at Lifes Second Chance Treatment Center played a major role in my recovery. First of all, the facility feels less like a rehab center and more like a resort. Everything at the facilities defines luxury and comfort. I am a diabetes patient and they always took care of what I was supposed to eat. I very much enjoyed all the activities that were scheduled on a daily basis and focused my time at the facility on learning things that I didn’t know of before. They are very dedicated to what they do.

My parents pestered me for 6 months before I finally agreed to go to Center for Life Resources Comanche County Office. I’m more than lucky that my parents found Center for Life Resources Comanche County Office and were relentless in their determination to get me there. For the first time in 9 years I feel normal again when I’m sober. I started using pain meds when I was 23 and went to my first rehab 2 years into my addiction. I went to 5 more rehabs before my parent found Center for Life Resources Comanche County Office and going to Center for Life Resources Comanche County Office was completely different and better than all those other rehabs put together. Every time I finished a rehab program in the past I would try to stay clean and I would for a month, maybe 2 but the biggest problem I had was the fact that I wasn’t comfortable in my own skin anymore and the knowledge that if I just used I’d feel normal again. On the one hand, I wanted to be sober. On the other hand, I just wanted to feel normal. So eventually I’d give up and relapse. I thought Center for Life Resources Comanche County Office would be like the other rehabs and didn’t quite understand why they seemed to be so fixated on this one place when in the past it was just getting me a rehab, any rehab. When I got there and started interacting with the staff I came to realize why my parents thought so highly of Center for Life Resources Comanche County Office. Every staff member was exceptionally kind and compassionate and incredibly helpful all the time. I felt comfortable there and was able to relax and just concentrate on my recovery. I was able to talk with and open up to my counselors. For the first time since I started using, I felt like a had a decent shot of staying clean when I finished the program. It was about 6 weeks into my program at Center for Life Resources Comanche County Office when I noticed how different I was. I was exercising and eating well. Something that actually surprised me was how good the food there was. I was smiling more and just happy to be there doing a rehab program that worked for me. Throughout the program, I got more and more comfortable just being me. I didn’t feel off when I was sober anymore and as that was one of the major hurdles I’ve always had I knew that I could and would be able to stay sober when I finished my program and went home. I’ve had some bad days since I’ve finished my program but I haven’t relapsed and going to Center for Life Resources Comanche County Office gave me the tools I needed to get through those bad days and the support system to help me when I need it. Going to Center for Life Resources Comanche County Office helped me so much. It’s amazing being clean and sober. More importantly, though I feel like myself again. Being sober is normal for me now and I wouldn’t change it for anything.

TX Substance Abuse Facts

In several surveys conducted between 2014 and 2015, substance use and abuse was widely reported in the state of Texas, demonstrating a clear need for quality treatment:

  • And 10% of this demographic also reported past-month alcohol use.
  • For all Texans older than 12, 1.3 million of them—or 6%—had an alcohol use disorder; almost 600,000 of them were physically dependent on the substance.
  • A local paper reported that 1,186 Texans died of opioid-related deaths in 2015.
  • Nationwide, 15.7 million people older than 12 suffer from an alcohol addiction.

Getting Addiction Treatment Help

If you are one of the hundreds of thousands of Texans suffering from a substance use disorder, the good news is that rehabilitation treatment can help you break free from your addiction. However, figuring out where to find providers or programs can be confusing and even overwhelming. Fortunately, you don’t have to go far to begin your search.

The directory listings on this page take you to reputable treatment providers in Texas and across the country. You can browse by state or city and learn more about the available treatment options and program amenities. You can also call to speak with a member of our rehab placement team to ask specific questions you may have and to connect with a treatment center.

Your family physician, therapist, or psychiatrist will likely have good recommendations for substance abuse treatment facilities and may be able to work in tandem with your rehab counselors to ensure continuity of care.

Many people know friends or family who have gone through addiction treatment and gotten clean, and they are frequently a good resource for recommendations because they can share what it’s like from a patient’s perspective.

If you have health insurance, call your benefits coordinator and find out which clinicians and programs are covered in your insurance network. It’s a good idea to research facilities both in Texas and out of state—you may prefer to attend treatment in a setting that’s removed from your familiar environment.

Where Else Can I Find Help?

Even if you don’t know anyone who’s been through drug or alcohol treatment, and/or you don’t have insurance, there are many options to find treatment and to help you pay for it.

Texas provides substance abuse treatment via Medicaid for those who meet qualifying criteria—primarily for low-income residents.

Local organizations frequently help residents find appropriate treatment, and many will even help you pay for it, if you demonstrate a need. Churches, nonprofits, and charitable organizations sometimes have funds dedicated to substance abuse treatment scholarships or grants. Call some of the organizations near you to find out what resources are offered.

Many treatment centers are flexible when it comes to financing. They may offer sliding scale options based on income, or help you work out a payment plan that fits within your budget. Some even offer their own partial or full scholarships to those who qualify.

There are many ways for you to find the treatment you need—start searching today.
