Latest Reviews Of Rehab Centers In Virginia VA

Great place, great food and great staff none the least. A major part of recovery is to deal with the psychological complications that a person develops because of the substance abuse and dependency. They are very dedicated to what they do. The place is very comfortable and involves the people in recovery in various activities in the evenings. If you’re looking for an amazing treatment center in the most beautiful healing environment THIS IS THE PLACE. The staff members are amazing, always ready to help you with anything. I promise I will only be returning as alumni and not a patient.

Caring staff Located in a serene environment. Great facilities. Maybe catered more to younger patients. Had a family member go to the facility. Our family learned a lot about addiction, mainly how to support our loved one effectively while establishing boundaries. It has been an integral tool in the healing of our family.

Great food great staff private room. Patients are raving about this facility and the care they are receiving, its literally an all star team of substance abuse professionals. The staff approaches all clients with honesty, compassion, integrity, and support for growth and change. Wonderful facility! Friendly and relaxing atmosphere for those truly wanting help. New Life Recovery Center is the best detox center I’ve been to.

Hanover County Community Service Board recognizes that medical as well as personal attention is a necessary part of an effective addiction treatment program. The counselors are well-trained, supportive and clearly engaged in giving clients a wide variety of tools and mental processes that they can use for life-long health. The facility is very neat and clean. Along with the treatment sessions, all of the clients were also exposed to a number of other fun activities like trips, outdoor BBQs, movie nights and stuff. All of the staff and clients came along like a family. What a wonderful rehab center! I would recommend Hanover County Community Service Board Program to anyone out there that is struggling with addictions.

Treatment Info

VA Substance Abuse Facts

Drug and alcohol abuse is a significant problem in Virginia. In 2015, about 25,000 people in Virginia over the age of 12 had used heroin in the past year, and approximately 397,000 Virginians qualified for diagnosis of an alcohol use disorder.

Nationwide, an estimated 21.7 million people needed treatment for a substance use disorder in 2015; however, less than 11% of those people actually received that treatment. Getting the proper care to the people who need it is a major initiative of addiction specialists, community organizations, and government initiatives.

In Virginia, more than 22,000 people were enrolled in substance abuse treatment on a single-day count conducted in 2015. Of those, 40% were in treatment for both alcohol and drug abuse, showing the prevalence of polysubstance abuse.

Getting Addiction Treatment Help

Every person in addiction treatment has a unique set of needs, and rehab facilities offer a range of features and amenities to choose from.

Knowing your options and determining what’s most important to you is the first step. Call rehab facilities in your desired area to learn more about:

  • Program details.
  • Insurance coverage.
  • Length of stay.
  • Family involvement.
  • Amenities such as private rooms or complementary wellness activities such as yoga classes.

Where Else Can I Find Help?

If money is short, there are still plenty of ways for you to enter rehab and receive addiction treatment and/or detox services. Government insurance providers like Medicare and Medicaid are currently required to provide benefits for addiction treatment.

There are also a number of rehab facilities that are happy to work with patients to set up payment options that meet their needs. This could mean a sliding scale option, in which the amount you’re charged is based on your ability to pay. Another option is a payment installation plan, which can be set up either directly with the treatment center or through a third party that provides low-interest loans and credit cards to help cover healthcare costs.

Recovery groups and 12-step programs like Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous are also excellent resources, regardless of whether you’ve completed an addiction treatment program. In fact, many treatment centers rely on 12-step groups as the cornerstone of their recovery and aftercare programs.
