Latest Reviews Of Rehab Centers In Nevada NV

The best thing about going to rehab was that it didn’t feel like rehab at all! During rehab, I got to go to concerts, and a Dolphins game- that would have never happened anywhere else! Tahoe Youth and Family Services taught me how to live again after I’d forgotten how to even take care of myself.

The staff is caring, understanding and knowledgeable. This place was excellent. When people arrive at this center they find out very quickly that people care for them and will give a program that works. The counselors have an open door policy and they provide stellar support as well as a variety of lectures and group discussions. The staff designs a plan where people in recovery can be holistically treated. I am great full that their experience and judgment was only for my own good teaching me how to deal with being sober.

I have been to two treatment centers in the past year. One is a well established, renowned, corporate facility with a detached board of directors and a misleading marketing department. The other is Westcare Nevada Inc Harris Springs Ranch. There is no comparison. Going to Westcare Nevada Inc Harris Springs Ranch was the best decision of my life. The clinical staff at Westcare Nevada Inc Harris Springs Ranch is as good as it gets. The knowledge of the medical staff with regards to addiction and mental health treatment is second to none. The therapists I worked with are the best I have ever worked with, and I’ve seen a few. The residential assistants all performed their roles magnificently. Staff morale is very high. In contrast, the corporate facility was a stepping stone for inexperienced therapists and subpar medical staffers. I came to Westcare Nevada Inc Harris Springs Ranch broken and left in the best physical and mental shape I have ever been. The CEO, CFO, and COO all knew me on a first name basis. It is VERY evident patients are above profits. I highly recommend Westcare Nevada Inc Harris Springs Ranch!

Fast admission Dont know really As of now my brother is at Family and Child Trt of Southern NV FACT, and he is there since 2 weeks. I am glad that he is through the hardest part. He said that the detox was fine, he got loads of help and it went as smooth as it was possible to go. The medical staff are very competent he said, and that the nurses are there helping out whenever he needs. We called the center like 3 weeks ago, cause we wanted to find a center where he can get real help. The person who got on the phone with us was very helpful. We talked a couple of times, before we (me and my mom and brother) decided which center to choose. After they did all the paper work very quickly. The papers with the insurance vent very fast. They did the intake very quickly. We were all very pleased with the administration that at least this did not pose a problem. The place itself is nice, very clean and orderly. My brother told us he is in a room with one room mate and that they get along very well. He said that the care takes and counselors are all very nice. All the other staff members are nice to him, and he likes the program. He said that it is since about a week he start on the 12 steps, but they gave him 2-3 options, he wanted to do the 12 steps. He said it is going well, and now he for some friends, who show him around and help him out.

Treatment Info

NV Substance Abuse Facts

Substance abuse is a serious and growing issue in the United States, with more than 20 million people suffering from a substance use disorder in 2015.1

In Nevada alone, nearly 7,000 individuals undergo treatment at a rehab facility every single day.2 Statistics show that a standalone drug abuse problem is the most common reason people seek addiction treatment in the state; however, experiencing an addiction to both alcohol and drugs at the same time is also quite common. In fact, Nevada’s rates of alcoholism exceeded the national average every year between 2011 and 2015, and more than 35% of NV residents in treatment in 2015 were seeking care for co-occurring drug and alcohol use disorders.2

Substance use disorders cause or contribute to a staggering number of deaths in the U.S. Drug overdoses are, of course, a major cause for concern, with more than 600 overdose deaths in NV per year,3 but accidents and injuries resulting from drug use are also a major problem. Drunk driving alone was responsible for nearly 100 deaths in NV in 2015.4 Every day that you abuse drugs and/or alcohol, you put yourself and others at risk.

Getting Addiction Treatment Help

Choosing an addiction rehab program may seem daunting, especially if it is your first time. Here are some things to consider when picking a program:

  • Choose your location wisely. It’s often recommended that you pick a rehab center outside of your home city, as new surroundings can take you away from your daily triggers and help you focus on your recovery. Do you prefer an isolated location (on the beach, for example) or do you want to be close to the hustle and bustle of the city?
  • Check out the center’s amenities. Is it important for you to have a pool during your stay? Do you want a private room? Make sure you pick a center at which you know you’ll feel comfortable.
  • Read reviews. There are many online reviews written by people who have been through the programs and can offer their own experiences and perspectives. They can provide insight into everything from the accommodations and daily activities, to the staff members, and even the quality of the food.

Where Else Can I Find Help?

With more than 60 drug and alcohol rehab centers available in Nevada,5 it can be difficult to pick the right one for you. One of the things that may influence your decision is the cost, which varies depending on the facility, type of treatment, and the length of your stay.

The first thing you should do is check with your health insurance provider to learn which treatment programs are covered under your plan. This can help narrow down your choices.

If you don’t have insurance, or you need additional help to pay for treatment, other options include:

  • Taking out a private loan.
  • Finding a rehab center that offers payment plans.
  • Finding a free or low-budget treatment program in Nevada (see below for resources in NV).

Don’t let the worry or stress of paying for rehab deter you from getting the help you need—you have options.
