An Adult Men/'s Transitional Living Facility With Outpatient Substance Abuse Counseling
Location services description: Substance abuse treatment, Halfway house. Treatment received at location: Outpatient Types of patients treated: Men

No client will be denied services based on the ability to pay.  No deposits will be accepted to secure transitional living bed space. 

Client fees will be assessed utilizing the Sliding Fee Scale.  An agreement will made during intake and the signed/initialed agreement retained in the client chart.  Current Rates will be in accordance with Federal Poverty Guidelines. Transitional Living Rates will be based on a sliding fee scale.

Outpatient Substance Abuse Counseling Rates will be contingent upon client enrolling in Medicaid and/or a health insurance plan that covers behavioral health issues.

All clients will be assessed for Medicaid eligibility and enrollment.  If the client is covered, Step 1 staff will submit claims to the health care organization for reimbursement and payment of applicable services.

When services are covered or partially covered by a third party, Step 1 will work directly with the third party on the client's behalf (with signed release and consents).  For partial payments by a third party, Step 1 will apply the sliding fee scale to the remaining portion of the bill.
