For the first time in 9 years I feel normal again when I’m sober. I started using pain meds when I was 23 and went to my first rehab 2 years into my addiction. Every time I finished a rehab program in the past I would try to stay clean and I would for a month, maybe 2 but the biggest problem I had was the fact that I wasn’t comfortable in my own skin anymore and the knowledge that if I just used I’d feel normal again. On the one hand, I wanted to be sober. On the other hand, I just wanted to feel normal. So eventually I’d give up and relapse. Tyler Detoxification Short-Term Adult Inpatient - Cenikor was a wonderful experience. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful in every aspect. The amentities were unbelievable with a personal chef, Outdoor pool and volleyball court, indoor movie theater and pool table. They took you to an outside meeting every night. Yoga, acupunture, and massage therapy were also part of the program. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and more importantly a loved one!
