User Reviews: My husband just recently was at this rehab facility in PA. The techs at night are horrible he said... I would call the nurses station because their is a seven day block that you can't speak to your loved ones.. I would ask how my husband is doing n they would tell me he's great,he ate,he's sociable,he's standing 20feet from me I will give him a message you called n my husband said the whole time he was Their he received only one message!! Mind you I called everyday for ten days.. when the time came that he can call me theirs no privacy they listen to every word he says.. time limit is exactly 3minutes to speak..my husband has been telling them for days that he doesn't feel right he needs to see a doctor n they said it's ok it's normal mind you he was done with Detox..My husband is home with a pneumonia can't take no pain meds only Tylenol...Think n think twice about this place in PA. Do your homework I kick myself in the butt that I didn't take him to Marwarth...But trust me if my husband needs help again that is where he will be going as an out patient... that you Just Believe for helping him in detox he's a fighter n will continue fighting.. but you all suck on listening to your patience needs also you all sound height yourselves when answering the phones so keep that in mind when your patience are saying something is wrong with them they don't feel right it doesn't hurt to make sure it's not something else thank you!!!!

User Reviews: Going to STR was the first step in SAVING my LIFE! I had never been in treatment before and was utterly terrified of the unknown. STR made was caring and supportive from even before I made it to the front door. From my admission phone call to discharge 5 months later (I completed both phase 1 and 2 programs) they were my family! I went in with ZERO intention of continuing to phase 2 but I was surrounded by the most amazing counselors and support staff and knew continuing to phase 2 would provide me with the best possible tools for success with continued recovery. I love that a majority of the staff are also in recovery, understand where you are at, and can relate as they have been where there themselves. STR gave me a new outlook on life and helped me realize I was WORTH saving!

The physical, mental, and spiritual healing that I have obtained is nothing short of a miracle. The level of medical expertise combined with a GENUINE care and concern for their patients is what it sets it apart from other treatment centers. Everyone from the director to the housekeeper to the chefs takes a personal interest in each and every patient. So far our son is doing well and has said the center is unlike any he has been to in the past and is much nicer and the staff really cares and wants to make him well again. User Reviews: I could not say enough good things about Marworth. I went to this treatment center for an alcohol addiction a few months ago, and I am very happy that I did. I had been struggling with an alcohol abuse habit for about twenty years and previous treatment centers I had gone too just were not working for me. Marworth treatment approach however was exactly what I needed to ensure that I could stay clean and sober for life. Marworth approach uses a lot of one on one attention and a lot of direct, focused treatment services to help people find their path to freedom from even the most difficult and unpleasant of substance abuse habits. One of my favorite things about Marworth is that this treatment center truly was able to help me see the future and see the path out of addiction and into a level of freedom and stability and abstinence that was lasting and permanent. Marworth combines an excellent degree of one on one services and group therapies to make for a well varied, and well thought out recovery approach. I will contend that this is a tricky program. You actually have to work at it and really apply yourself to it. I would say that the only reason why Marworth would not work for you would be if you were not committed to getting clean from your addiction when you entered into the treatment program. But then again, that would be true for anyone going to any kind of treatment program. With Marworth, if you want to get clean, you absolutely will get clean with their help. Of that I can say is true with certainty. This treatment center definitely goes the extra mile and puts in the effort to truly help people no matter how bad their substance abuse habits are. I am very pleased with everything that this treatment center was able to do for me and for the other individuals that I went there with. This treatment center really did save all of our lives and really helped us to find our peace of mind and our freedom from even the most difficult of substance abuse habits. Again, this program is tough, but if you are committed to it, it will save you from addiction.
