I have witnessed EVERY staff member, from the owner to the directors, and even to the wonderful girls at the front desk, selflessly do anything and everything they can possibly do for ANY client, no matter what the case may be. The staff gives it their absolute all and then magic simply takes place. I was there for a little over 2 months then continued for another 2 with their outpatient IOP program. In all that time I have seen many extremes of situations happen to which the entire Steps to Recovery staff resolved with such an unbelievable amount of compassion, love, and delicate ease. I wouldn't recommend any other rehab over STR. The center as well as the surrounding property is beautiful, the living facilities in both phases of the program are spacious, updated, and completely comfortable. Steps makes it fun, and at the same time makes you feel completely safe and loved, as they jam pack you with life-saving knowledge and skills. I attended STR ONE time, my only time in treatment mind you, last summer (2016). As of January 1, 2017, with the extensive help, care, and love I recieved from STR, I have obtained SIX MONTHS of continuous freedom since the day I walked through the front door. They saved me and gave me my life back, and it's an even better life than before; more than I could have ever imagined. I had been struggling with an alcohol abuse habit for about twenty years and previous treatment centers I had gone too just were not working for me. Marworth treatment approach however was exactly what I needed to ensure that I could stay clean and sober for life. Marworth approach uses a lot of one on one attention and a lot of direct, focused treatment services to help people find their path to freedom from even the most difficult and unpleasant of substance abuse habits. One of my favorite things about Marworth is that this treatment center truly was able to help me see the future and see the path out of addiction and into a level of freedom and stability and abstinence that was lasting and permanent. Marworth combines an excellent degree of one on one services and group therapies to make for a well varied, and well thought out recovery approach. I will contend that this is a tricky program. You actually have to work at it and really apply yourself to it. I would say that the only reason why Marworth would not work for you would be if you were not committed to getting clean from your addiction when you entered into the treatment program. Amazing staff, really warm environment. Customized therapy according to individual appropriateness. The people here are very nice and will do whatever it takes to help you out. The treatments were tailored to each patient and well-rounded, focusing on the entire body and mind. The facility feels less like a rehab center and more like a resort. Psychological Services is a dual diagnosis facility dedicated to helping people with substance use and mental health issues. I got to know about Psychological Services as this is the facility that organizes campaigns, seminars, and conferences to address substance abuse and create awareness to youth.
I loved the individual therapy. It was my favorite and my therapist was awesome.
Very good facility. The staff is very kind and caring. All the therapy sessions are great and very informational. If you complete this program properly and fully I believe you will be more successful in your recovery. Jamie and Hope are also the best Resident Assistants in the program and will help you on the path to Recovery because of them I have hope in my sobriety.
