Why Go to Drug and Alcohol Treatment in Opelousas, LA?

Alcoholism recovery necessitates a total change of one's lifestyle and perceptions. Substance abuse addiction can be co-occurring with mental health disorders, trauma, or behavioral issues. Drug abuse rehab starts by treating the physical body to ensure that substances are removed. After drugs and alcohol are out of the body, therapists begin treating the brain. Learning stress management, healthy boundaries, and coping skills will significantly increase the likelihood of permanent sobriety. It can take weeks or even months of intensive substance abuse treatment to totally address the hidden causes of substance abuse addiction. Drug and alcohol addiction is a debilitating disease that changes the mind as well as the body. Until we address the underlying reasons for chemical dependency, there is little hope for continuing sobriety. Latest Reviews Of Rehab Centers In Opelousas LA

My husband went through this program and so far he made a lot of progress. We like that this rehab treats their patients with individual programs and not everybody gets the same. The facility was very nice and neat, it did not feel like a rehab center but more like a hotel on vacation. My husband had a lot of a great time as this rehab celebrates a lot of holidays such as Thanksgiving, Easter etc... right now my husband is at home and he still has the aftercare program so we can make sure if he needs help then he will receive it fast. He is really a changed man, not drinking anymore and he is so much more at peace.

Monroe Behavioral Health Center is amazing. The accommodations and groups, as well as therapy sessions here at Monroe Behavioral Health Center are top notch and offers something for everyone. The strength of this facility is really the diversity of programs, cause you can choose not just the 12 steps but for example a faith-based track. This would be ideal for those who are believers in Jesus. The staff here are amazing. Monroe Behavioral Health Center is one of the higher-end inpatient rehab facility and surely the best of its kind. I have never felt so loved and cared for in a treatment center before.

I came here for a stabilization period I was welcomed with open arms, and I was truly able to get the help that I need to get while being here, they were very accommodating to my needs. I would highly recommend to anyone struggling with addiction problems, I felt as if they were really there to help me.

I actually fell in love with this facility during my stay here. Such a fun place to be! I don’t think my recovery would’ve been this much easier if I would’ve been somewhere else. Food options were very diverse and exotic in-between but always awesome! You also get free ice-cream and cigarettes. The staff was great and you could feel that they actually cared about you and your recovery. There were always something to do and a lot of fun activities like going to the movies with the staff and other clients, trips to the beach, barbecues, painting and art sessions and a lot more things that I truly cherished during my stay at the facility. I have been a huge fan of this facility ever since the successful completion of my treatment plan, have always recommended it and would always recommend it to someone who wants to get clean and sober.
