Overview

Provides peer-to-peer recovery support services that enhance available substance abuse treatment services by promoting recovery, reducing relapse, and intervening early when relapse occurs. The peer-based recovery support services provided by the Futuros Saludables Program will facilitate the provision of comprehensive services to both Adults (18 and over) and Adolescents (12-17) male and female that 1) stress the importance and power of recovery, 2) have been designed with the assistance of people in recovery, 3) rely on people in recovery to help deliver services, 4) emphasize the importance of leadership development, and 5) promote principles of self-care and cultural diversity.

Eligibility: Adults 18 and over; Adolescents 12 to 17 years of age males and females that are in need of substance abuse recovery support services. In order to reduce relapse and intervening early to prevent relapse.
