Overview

Broward Addiction Recovery Centers (BARC) provide alcohol and drug testing, detoxification, assessment, residential, day and outpatient treatment. The program accepts pregnant users (perinatal) and women with children 7 years or younger. Specialty programs include those with co-occurring disorders (COD), seniors over 55 (MAP), HIV/AIDS services, and a Hispanic outpatient program. There are three locations depending on program needed: Central Facility at 1000 SW 2nd St, Ft Lauderdale, for detox, COD and MAP; Lauderhill at 4200 NW 16th St, for outpatient, day treatment, perinatal; and Booher Bldg at 3275 NW 99th Way, Coral Springs, 33065 for residential treatment programs.
