You will be provided with all the tools and guidance necessary for a successful recovery within a relaxed social environment. Along with the counseling and guidance session there is plenty of time allowed for daily activity outings and free time to spend as you choose. The relaxed environment helps you focus on your healing, and deal with the things you need to deal with. I enjoyed their meals as well, you always get a good choice of meals. I really appreciated that I could stay for a longer period of time, because I did not feel like 30 days were enough, so I stayed almost 2 months. I had a very pleasant experience with the staff members at the Tubman Mental Health Center at the Chrysalis Site. Everyone from the therapists to the cook to the housekeeping staff was nice, welcoming, and energetic. There was this positive vibe at this facility that I think highly influenced my recovery in a positive way. I loved the food that was served 3 times a day. The outdoor mini-pool was my favorite spot. Group therapy sessions were also a great opportunity for me to develop and work on new skills. I don’t think there might be another facility that offers this much to their clients. Will recommend it a 100%.
