Why Go to Drug and Alcohol Treatment in Hillcrest Heights, MD?

Alcoholism recovery necessitates a total change of one's lifestyle and perceptions. Substance abuse addiction can be co-occurring with mental health disorders, trauma, or behavioral issues. Drug abuse rehab starts by treating the physical body to ensure that substances are removed. After drugs and alcohol are out of the body, therapists begin treating the brain. Learning stress management, healthy boundaries, and coping skills will significantly increase the likelihood of permanent sobriety. It can take weeks or even months of intensive substance abuse treatment to totally address the hidden causes of substance abuse addiction. Drug and alcohol addiction is a debilitating disease that changes the mind as well as the body. Until we address the underlying reasons for chemical dependency, there is little hope for continuing sobriety. Here at Your First Step, we can assist you in finding the right rehab program in Hillcrest Heights, MD that addresses your needs.

Latest Reviews Of Rehab Centers In Hillcrest Heights MD

My daughter has had much hurt and pain in her life and had experience depression, anxiety, and panic attacks for years which led to drug addiction. She has been to doctors, in counseling, in outpatient care, and in hypnosis to get help. With no relief, she continued in her addiction and was digging a hole so very deep that her very life was at risk. She asked me to find a place that was different than where she had been because she was desperate to be clean and get on a better road to recovery. I called several places but finally was led to University of Maryland Methadone Treatment Program as this was a holistic center. Exactly what my daughter needed. She was admitted to a 30-day inpatient care program. The facility was so very welcoming, calming, and serene. The staff was so awesome, understanding and considerate of our emotions and feelings. They welcomed her in and worked with her on so many issues. When she would call home, she would talk about all of the different treatments she was getting and how it was helping her. She actually said she was having fun! The road to recovery is a long one and we know this as her family; however, because of this facility and the staff and management there, she has experienced wellness and she is clean. I thank you all at University of Maryland Methadone Treatment Program for what you have achieved in this facility and for all that you did to support my daughter and our family. God bless you all.

I received a scholarship from JHH Houses Wilson House in 2016. I came to JHH Houses Wilson House with a broken spirit and severe health concerns. In a few short months at the center, I regained my health and received a new lease on life! The entire staff worked tirelessly to meet the needs of me and the other clients. I and my family are forever grateful to JHH Houses Wilson House for the love and hospitality!

Compassionate and experienced staff, individualized treatment, serene location, and family like atmosphere. Facilitators and counselors were great. Pleasant and understanding staff. Some of the employees have gone through their own troubles with drugs, so they understand and actually care about getting the patient through what they are going through. Good place to get help. The staff at Adult Addiction Clinic - Anne Arundel County Department of Health is there to attend all the patients 24x7. Adult Addiction Clinic - Anne Arundel County Department of Health was an amazing experience. The staff was very knowledgeable, some from experience and others from education, but they were there for me every step of my recovery.
