VARP,Inc  believes and endorses the concept that substance abuse is an illness in which an individual’s ingestion of drugs and/or alcohol repeatedly interferes with health, job performance, family welfare and interpersonal relationships. The philosophy of this program is that substance abuse is a treatable disease that not only affects the addicted person, but everyone who has contact with him or her. Our treatment programs provide a warm, drug and alcohol free long term environment, with qualified and empathetic paraprofessional personnel who assist the addicted person and family members in developing life changing tools, recovery and coping skills through peer interaction and 12 step support.
Gibson House Recovery Center for Women is a State Licensed and Certified primary forty (61)  bed social model thirty to ninety day residential recovery treatment facility, for adult women individuals eighteen years or older, seeking help from substance use disorders.
