Overview

Substance Abuse Outpatient:

The Substance Abuse Program provides comprehensive assessment and treatment for alcohol and substance abuse dependence. Individual, family and group therapy are available and a nurses assessment and psychiatric evaluation are required. A variety of group treatment approaches provide education, recovery training and support to assist in efforts towards abstinence. Frequency of sessions will vary dependent upon individual needs. Chemical dependency is recognized as a family illness, therefore the involvement of family is strongly encouraged. A specialized outpatient program is offered for women in cooperation with Department of Family and Children Services.
