Overview

NORA uses evidence-based, family-focused treatment and recovery support models (A-CRA and ACC) to teach youth (12-17 years old) new ways of handling life’s problems without drugs or alcohol. The Adolescent Treatment Program also teaches them how to use existing community resources that will support positive change, how to develop a positive support system, and extends this training and support into the families’ homes.  These models have been proven to assist youth in determining for themselves that sober behavior is more rewarding than using behavior, as well as helping families to support youth in their efforts to enter substance use recovery.
