Overview

Lake Area Recovery Center provides a variety of residential and non-residential services, both at the Donahoe Center and at facilities throughout Ashtabula County.

Services provided include:

*drug/alcohol assessment/treatment/continuing care
*crisis management/walk-in emergency services
*codependency assessment/treatment, group therapy
*intervention training for concerned others

*on-call/after hours services referrals to detoxification or inpatient care

Service for Adolescents:

Trails is an intensive treatment program developed by Lake Area Recovery Center for adolescents who are drug dependent and cannot remain alcohol and/or drug free on a typical outpatient basis.
The program serves as a cost-effective alternative to inpatient treatment for adolescents.

Adolescent Eligibility:

The Trails program was developed for adolescents previously diagnosed as having chemical dependency problems. The program seeks to provide comprehensive treatment by involving family members in the treatment and continuing care process. The program is four weeks in length and also includes weekly family sessions. Those children currently enrolled in school are required to attend school during the entire program.
