Overview

Elmcor provides comprehensive drug rehabilitation services using three modalities: Prevention, Outpatient and Residential.
Outpatient treatment offers intensive and non-intensive tracts. Individuals in the non-intensive tract attend 2 to 3 times weekly and those in the intensive tract attend 4 days weekly.
Elmcor’s Residential Program offers a 51-bed ultra modern facility where comprehensive clinical rehabilitation services are available including individual counseling, group counseling, gender specific groups, vocational training, health education, relapse prevention, mental health evaluations and psychopharmacology.
Elmcor developed from that small volunteer organization into a major provider of human services with clients ranging from pre-schoolers to seniors. Today, Elmcor is one of the largest non-profit community-based service agencies in Queens.
