Overview

Short-term program utilizing methadone in decreasing doses over a 3 week period.  This program is appropriate for those seeking treatment for the first time or for short-term users.  This program includes two individual counseling sessions, access to on-site groups, referral services and limited medical services.  We strongly recommend the use of certain amino acids and vitamins when withdrawing from methadone.  Ask our staff about vitadone, Neuro-Recover, or other options.  Participants who have longer addiction histories and/or are using high volumes of opiates (i.e. heroin, oxycontin, norco, codeine, vicodin, etc.) are more appropriate for maintenance or long-term detoxification.  Medi-Cal accepted.
