Why Go to Drug and Alcohol Treatment in Porterville, MS?

Alcoholism recovery necessitates a total change of one's lifestyle and perceptions. Substance abuse addiction can be co-occurring with mental health disorders, trauma, or behavioral issues. Drug abuse rehab starts by treating the physical body to ensure that substances are removed. After drugs and alcohol are out of the body, therapists begin treating the brain. Learning stress management, healthy boundaries, and coping skills will significantly increase the likelihood of permanent sobriety. It can take weeks or even months of intensive substance abuse treatment to totally address the hidden causes of substance abuse addiction. Drug and alcohol addiction is a debilitating disease that changes the mind as well as the body. Until we address the underlying reasons for chemical dependency, there is little hope for continuing sobriety. Here at Your First Step, we can assist you in finding the right rehab program in Porterville, MS that addresses your needs.

Latest Reviews Of Rehab Centers In Porterville MS

Activities, therapies, 12 step treatment, recreational therapy and great food. I could not have asked for anything more. Thank you to everyone for helping me get through this time!

When I arrived at Crossroads Recovery Center Gulf Coast Mental Health Center, with everything that it had to offer, it wasn’t much hard to fall in love with this facility and yes, it made my recovery a lot easier than I had imagined it could’ve been. They serve you with a lot of exotic food options that are plain awesome and you also get to have free ice cream and cigarettes, if you smoke. I very much liked the staff too as they did everything in their power to make me feel at home. You can actually feel that they genuinely care about your recovery and well-being. You always have fun activities to participate in at the facility beside the regular BBQs, movie nights and trips to the beach. I loved the arts and crafts sessions and the group therapy session was also great and felt like a deep bonding experience with other people struggling with the same problems as me. I have been recommending their services to the people and I know and will keep on spreading the word. Thanks!

I’ve never seen so many helpful people as I’ve seen at Born Free Primary Residential Treatment. It’s amazing. The staff there make going to treat an enjoyable experience. The programs there are great and really helpful but it’s the staff that makes all the difference. Everything any of them can do to help you out they are more than happy to do. If you are having a bad day someone is always there to cheer you up or help you work through whatever problem is bringing you down. They really show you that you can have fun when you’re sober and that’s a pretty great thing to do. When I was on drugs I didn’t really think I could have a good time when I was sober and so never really wanted to get clean. Seeing all the people at Born Free Primary Residential Treatment really, truly enjoying themselves and the life they are creating changed something for me and I really saw how much better my life would be without drugs which turned into a willingness to get clean and sober. That willingness changed my life.

I have worked at this employer for almost a year and I must say that I am enjoying every day here. I will first start off by stating what a typical day at work is like. I work in intake /counseling and it is so fulfilling. Each day I am able to come into work and know that I am helping patients set up their goals and ideals for when they discharge for the program. I see them when they come into our center when they are at their worst and I am honored to see them throughout the program evolve into something amazing that they themselves were not even sure they could become. Seeing these people come in here and not think they are worth anything to then seeing them go through the steps needed to reach their recovery is a gift, and is very rewarding.I plan on being here for a very long time and growing with this company and I look forward to seeing so many more people succeed and knowing that I am helping them reach one of many goals that they have set for themselves is something that I pride myself in every day!!
