We have individual classes and there are so many classes to choose from and I like the fact that I was able to choose what direction I wanted to take. They all helped me to understand why I was using and how I got here. The detox is great and the fact that it was a medical detox was even better because they make sure you are as comfortable as possible. They have a work out room and that helped me get a lot of my strength and energy back. It was a really peaceful setting and I loved that fact that we could take walks and do things a group as well as do things individually on our own as well. I can not say enough good things about this center and I think that if you are struggling or know anyone who is that this would be a good place for you to check out. I really loved being at MaineGeneral Residential Services for Men and I have learned a lot. It is a really good transition for me in my early recovery. Being able to work and a great slow transition back into the real world . There should be less days of groups the longer your there, once your on mentor phase I think it should be 3 days a week instead of 5.
