Provider Description

Mending Hearts is a program designed specifically for women. Mending Hearts’ capacity is 94 beds for women seeking recovery and they maintain a waiting list for available spaces. Their goal is to end the cycle of addiction and to develop responsibility, work ethics and self-esteem along with a strong and lasting support system for the women they serve. Payment is on a sliding fee scale based on income and other factors, also accepted is cash, self-payment, state financed health insurance plan other than medicaid, private health insurance.

Location services description: Substance abuse treatment, Detoxification, Halfway house. Treatment received at location: Residential short-term treatment (30 days or less), Residential long-term treatment (more than 30 days), Outpatient, Partial hospitalization/day treatment Types of patients treated: Persons with co-occurring mental and substance abuse disorders, Persons with HIV/AIDS, Pregnant/postpartum women, Women, Residential beds for clients' children
