Starting Over Straight (SOS)

Provider Description

SOS is a 14 bed residential program that meets the special needs of adolescent substance abusers between the ages of 13 and 18 years old.
Fees are based on a sliding scale, considering family size and income.

SOS Program
Outpatient Services provides comprehensive assessment and treatment services for adolescents experiencing substance abuse problems. Outpatient  provides TASC (Treatment Accountability for Safer Communities) evaluations and Drug Court treatment services based on referrals from the Department of Juvenile Justice in which specific issues and behavioral problems are assessed. Outpatient Services are provided in collaboration with the TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) program addressing individuals in need of treatment services. SOS is a 14 bed residential program that meets the special needs of adolescent substance abusers between the ages of 13 and 18 years old. All SOS residents are required to participate in an educational program. SOS considers family participation to be a key component in the successful treatment of our residents
